Welcome to Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy's “1st Annual McNair Cares STEAM 5K Walk/Run”. We are excited you have decided to walk/run with us to help support our dynamic Thoroughbred students. Be part of something special with 100% of the proceeds from the race supporting the following:

1. Our STEM program to help develop our future doctors, scientists, and engineers

2. Our McNair Missions Department that will help support our mission to eradicate hunger in students around the world

3. Our future state of the arts Performance Arts Academy that will house our Musical Engineering/Film Animation and Video Production Studio. The Academy will help prepare our students for careers in these fields.

The Vision of Ronald E. McNair Discovery Learning Academy is to become an internationally recognized school of excellence in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math. McNair Academy made history in 2016 by becoming one of the first predominately African American and 100% free and reduced lunch certified STEM schools in the nation.
