Dear Esteemed Staff and Teachers,

I am thrilled to introduce myself and join McNair Discovery Learning Academy. It is both an honor and a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated group of educators who are shaping the lives and futures of our students.

Building strong relationships is at the heart of my approach to leadership and collaboration. I am eager to get to know each of you, to listen, and to learn about the unique strengths, passions, and perspectives you bring to our school. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to achieve their fullest potential.

I am also deeply committed to supporting you in the critical work of instruction. Whether it is through providing resources, facilitating professional development, or simply being a thought partner, my goal is to empower you as educators. By fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning, we can elevate both teaching and learning outcomes across our school.

Furthermore, I am excited to help cultivate a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and shared purpose alongside all of you. By working together, we can ensure that our school is a place where every member of our community—students, teachers, and staff alike—thrives and feels valued.

Speaking of excellence, it’s worth noting that our school’s namesake, Ronald E. McNair, wasn’t just a NASA astronaut—he was also a trailblazer who proved that the sky wasn’t the limit. His life serves as an inspiring reminder of the heights we can achieve with determination, curiosity, and collaboration—qualities I see reflected in this incredible team.
