All About Dr. Worthey
Dr. Shanique Worthey is a mom, wife, educator, and technologist! She loves anything that supports preparing students of all ages with 21st century skills! Dr. Worthey also agrees with DeKalb County School District's Instructional Technology Department's purpose to encourage teachers and students to think critically, collaborate, be creative, and communicate effectively in the global information society in which they live. Dr. Worthey is the creator, designer, and editor of several educational websites, blogs, webquests that you will be able to explore on this website. She is an alumni of Spelman College (B.A.), Grand Canyon University (M.Ed.), the University of West Georgia (Ed.S.), and Capella University (Ed.D.). Dr. Worthey is also the Instructional Technology teacher for grades K-5 at McNair Discovery Learning Academy, in Decatur, Georgia.
